VIDEO. Ce este educația media? Ep.3 prof. John Potter

Professor John Potter of UCL Knowledge Lab in London tells us why media literacy is important in the wider child education:

I think media is part of the everyday practices of humans. In the way that they make and receive messages, messages about themselves in many different forms from written communication through to video and audio. (…) So we need to be informed about that. And we need to be responsive to the tremendous churn and change that there is currently going on to the digital experience of the media.

In the next episode, the representative of the Finnish National Audiovisual Institute – Saara Salomaa – tells us how media education helps society.
