She is the author of 12 books and more than 150 scholarly articles on digital and media literacy. As Founder and Director of the Media Education Lab, she embraces the mission to improve the quality of media literacy education through research and community service. She is also an Honorary Board member at Mediawise Society!
Nicoleta Fotiade is a Romanian media literacy educator, researcher and advocate in the media and communication field for more than 17 years. She co-authored two media literacy textbooks for high school, more than 20 media research studies and several other open education resources for teachers, students and librarians. Nicoleta is President of Mediawise Society and co-founder and member of IAME – International Association for Media Education.
